One of the most beautiful things you can do during the summer is to watch the sunset, especially if you’re somewhere close to the sea. The vibrant shades of pink and red, combined with the crystal blue sea feel like heaven on Earth.
There are a few locations from where you can watch the sunset, but there is nothing better than watching it from the comfort of your home, or your vacation home.
While renting a place to stay during your vacation, you consider a few important factors. The location of the place, number of rooms, availability, and of course, the cost of it. There is one more factor you have to add to your list, the view!
Having a beverage or a snack from your terrace while watching the blue Adriatic Sea or watching the sunset has to be one of the most relaxing activities for the afternoon.

Watching the sunset in nature
At the beginning of the year, we received a small introduction to the construction of the Heavenly Promenade, Skywalk Bikovo, which started in the Biokovo Nature Park.
This horseshoe-shaped lookout, built off a cliff, with a glass walkway, gives the impression of walking on clouds. From 1228 meters above sea level you will be able to enjoy an impressive view of the Makarska Riviera and islands. Imagine watching sunsets from this height. Mesmerizing!
You can reach the lookout point by the Biokovo road, which leads from the entrance reception of the Bikovo Nature Park to the highest Biokovo peak. They run at an altitude of 1762 meters.
Each part of coming to this lookout turns into a special adventure from which you will make many memories.
Lying somewhere on a beach while watching the sun setting behind the blue sea is truly gorgeous. There are a few beaches here in Makarska that have amazing views of the colorful sunsets during the summer.
Along the entire length of Brela, there is a promenade that will take you to its most famous beaches. From Jakiruša in the north, through Stomarica, Šćit, and Podraće, you are accompanied by many small sandy and pebble beaches covered with pine forests, of course, clean and clear sea.
If you continue along with the famous "Stone of Brela", a natural attraction and trademark of Brela, you will come to Punta Rata, a beach that experts, rank among the most beautiful beaches in Europe and the World. If it seems to you that many have discovered this beauty before that day, you can continue across the beach of the hotel "Maestral" to the beach Soline.
Once a famous fishing port, today Soline in the shade of its pine trees provides shelter from the sun for many tourists and hosts. The promenade takes you further south along the rocky coast to the beaches next to the hotel "Berulia". If you find yourself here at the end of the day, stop and take with you the memory of an unforgettable sunset over the island of Brač and the caress of the mistral.
