Paulina lived in the villa throughout the war in Croatia with her grandparents. Paulina and her family enjoyed life's luxuries, from skiing in Austria and Italy to travelling all around the world. Villa Paulina is famous for its hospitality and parties for the people of Dubrovnik. Paulina's brothers were two naval captains who shared responsibilities until one stayed tot take care of the family and the other went on to the USA.
