Villa Lu Dubrovnik

Mara is very helpful and responsive. Villa is wonderful and very nice. We are great time with my family.

Maras Villa is stunning, suitable for our family, the pool was fab, lovely and clean. all rooms were clean and spacious, comfy beds with air conditioning given that the weather was hot,hot hot!! Mara was very receptive and accommodating to my queries and nothing too much trouble. we had flawless transfers arranged by Mara and in turn Marco was particularly helpful with our checking out, looking after our luggage whilst we had an amazing lunch in a local restaurant prior to heading to the Airport. We also had Ruder the chef, recommended by Mara, cook us a gorgeous meal at The Villa for us all, absolutely top class, enabling the young children in our party to have a much needed early night! We would highly recommend Villa Lu, a fantastic holiday for us all. Oh! and upon travelling home one of our party had left behind some items of clothing, Mara has located the items and intends to post them back to us in the UK! Fantastic villa with great view. Close enough to old town for regular visits but far enough to escape the crowds. Mara was a great host too.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lu near Dubrovnik with our family of 8. The villa was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped for a large group. Each room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the common areas were ideal for relaxing together. The outdoor space was a highlight: the pool area was pristine, with plenty of seating and shade, and the views over the river were breathtaking. We enjoyed several meals on the terrace, soaking in the scenery and the peaceful atmosphere. The location was excellent—close enough to the Old Town to explore easily, but tucked away in a quiet area that felt private. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Villa Lu truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Dubrovnik, especially for families or groups.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Mara’s Villa. Lovely decor and amenities as well as spacious. Very close to the Old City, 15 min as well as the airport which is about 30min. You will need a car, taxi or Uber to explore Dubrovnik and the surrounding areas. Thank you Mara for your warm hospitality.

We really enjoyed our short stay. Villa is very convenient for local shops and bus stop to Old Town just on the doorstep. The villa was clean and Mara very responsive when we had questions. We especially liked the pool area with its covered terrace and fully equipped kitchen just for the pool area. The view over the inlet is pretty.

Meillä oli erittäin onnistunut loma Villa Lussa. Sijainti oli hyvä. Kauppa ja ravintola lähellä. Bussilla pääsi edullisesti kaupunkiin. Kohde täytti odotukset. Lapset nauttivat uimisesta lämmitetyssä altaassa. Vauvan itku ei kuulunut muihin huoneisiin. Hyvä äänieristys. Maran kanssa oli helppo asioida ja saimme säilyttää matkatavaroita uloskirjautumisen jälkeen.

Mara was an amazing host, very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The villa was great we enjoyed the view, pool and hot tub. In fact we enjoyed spending our days around the villa. Mara introduced us to a local taxi gentleman Marco who was fabulous and recommended restaurants and boat trips and days out. If you don’t have a car use Marco.

There were 10 of us including a baby and the villa was perfect! The villa is beautiful and so well appointed with 5 bedrooms, each with own bathroom, an outdoor kitchen and pool, as well as game room, exercise equipment, sauna and hot tub! All exactly as pictured! We also so appreciated the villa being stocked with staples such as milk, coffee, tea, juice, olive oil and fruit! It is also very easy to get into the city, but in a lovely peaceful area. Mara is an excellent and very responsive host. We highly recommend Villa Lu for your Dubrovnik vacation!

Cannot recommend this listing and Mara highly enough. The villa is stunning - amazing outdoor area which doesn’t even show off its benefits in the photos! Beautiful. The inside of the villa is absolutely perfect. It’s spotlessly clean and luxury lies everywhere. The showers are also amazing ! Mara herself is an amazing host and couldn’t do enough for us. Organized taxis and food etc for us! She was brilliant! Thank you Mara!
