The Croatian coast hides many picturesque places, beautiful bays, and enchanting towns. Even though sometimes overlooked in comparison with popular tourist destinations like the city of Split or Dubrovnik, Primošten is a hidden Dalmatian jewel that will charm everyone with its magical sights, beautiful locations, and amazing beaches.
Primošten is located less than half an hour away from Šibenik and you can easily reach it by following the state road D8, popularly called Adriatic Highway, that connects all the bigger Dalmatian cities from the Slovenia to Montenegro.
Once an island, today Primošten is connected to the mainland. The city has something for everyone, whether you are looking for mesmerizing locations that will leave you breathless or if you are in search of great nightlife and a great time, wonderful beaches for families, and luxurious accommodations.
Primošten is beautiful no matter the time of the year you decide to visit. Still, the summer months are perfect to enjoy all the benefits the city can offer, especially if you want to use your vacation to relax and escape the rush of the everyday world on one of the most beautiful Croatian beaches, and this charming place has around 20 kilometers of them to choose from.

Mala Raduča Beach
Closer to the historic core of the city, next to the city promenade, the beach Mala Raduča found its place. Thanks to its amazing location this lovely pebble beach offers fantastic views of the city. The beach doesn’t offer as many amenities as Velika Raduča, but the beaches are just a few steps away so the visitors can easily use the ones offered on both.
The beach is covered in pebbles and has a nice entrance suitable for families with children. The amazing location has its downsides so there aren’t a lot of places where you can hide from the sun on the beach so it’s recommended to bring or rent an umbrella.
There is a bar on the beach, and you can find a lot of other taverns, bars, and restaurants nearby.
Dagna Beach
The hidden bay of Dagna is located about 15 minutes of walking from the old town, on the north side of Primošten. This picturesque beach paradise will leave you speechless with its turquoise-blue sea, beautiful nature, and amazing sea views.

This rocky bay is partly covered with pebbles, and here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Raduča peninsula while enjoying the crystal clear Adriatic sea.
Beach Varoš
A beach known by the name Varoš lies at the beginning of the peninsula that makes up the old town. The beach offers beautiful views of the old town of Primošten but due to its location, there aren’t any facilities or activities offered here so don’t forget to bring everything you may need when coming here.
