The villa is located in a small village Dolenja Vas about 25 min drive from Opatija. It's location is source of most of its possitives as well as negatives. It's remote and private. Although when I was there the adjacent road was relatively busy. That personally surprised me. I'm guessing it could be down to a quirk in Google maps or other popular navigation. On the other hand you always are quite far from the beach. The closest one is about 30 min. At the same time you can get to Pula in about 45 min. 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have own bathroom which we liked a lot. The house protects from heat perfectly especially on the ground floor. If it's not enough AC is in all the rooms. We really enjoyed the grill outside. One of the best ones I have worked with. During our time it was very dry and quite hot. The pool being the only large source of water in the area thus attracted a lot of insects, especially wasps. According to the host it was much worse than in other years. This is something to keep in mind if you're coming with small children (<3 yo). As for the host, Mrs. Kristina, she was great. Always able to help, very flexible regarding our departure and trying to quickly solve any problems. This place is ideal if you want to spend a lot of time around house, pool or inside. If you primarily want to spend time by the sea you need to prepare yourself for a lot of driving each day. Thanks a lot to MyLuxoria team and Mrs. Kristina. We really enjoyed our holiday here.
