We (family of 5) stayed in Villa Mara for 10 days, end of July 2021. It is a very charming and beautiful stone house and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is very well equipped and we did not miss anything. Especially the pool and the outside dining area with open fire place we really enjoyed. The house is located in a very small rural village on the mountainside with a great view to the mountains and the valleys. It is very peacefully and you should really take your time to explore the surrounding - both the village as well as the many hiking and biking trails in the area, which can take you both to the top of the mountains or to the nearby city Drniš. Most of our shopping we did in Drniš, but we also went to the two cities Knin at the Krka River and Sibenik at the coast with further shopping and restaurants. Exploring the nature and landscapes in and around the Krka Nationalpark is a must as well as the coastline. But to get back to our private and peacefull house was the best. Also I would like to thank for the hospitality from the owner Marco as well as Petra and Joško - both for the warm welcome and their helpfulness during our stay with printing tickets and booking. And to Marco & Joško: the Knez wine was excellent....(o: Hope to see you again.
